★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monteriggioni è un suggestivo borgo medioevale racchiuso all’interno di mura in perfetto stato di conservazione. Una perla incastonata nei panorami collinari toscani. Molto carino il museo di Monteriggioni in arme, dove si possono ammirare riproduzioni di armature e di armi di epoca medioevale/rinascimentale. Apprezzabile visitarla durante la Festa Medioevale a luglio, nonostante il caldo.
Questo luogo è stato di ispirazione per la creazione di alcune ambientazioni di Assassin’s Creed.
Monteriggioni is a charming medieval village enclosed within walls in perfect condition. A pearl set in the Tuscan hills. Very nice is the museum of Monteriggioni in arms, where you can admire reproductions of armor and weapons from the medieval / Renaissance period. It is worth visiting during the Medieval Festival in July, despite the heat.
This place was the inspiration for the creation of some Assassin's Creed settings.

In winter access to the top of the wall seems very restricted and one must check with the armor museum.
