β β β β β Fantastic meal and a very fun evening. Every dish was delicious--the sea bass baked with clams and mussels especially so. The host, Mauro, was friendly and welcoming, and he capped off the evening with a guitar and a few of his original songs, as well as a short jam session with us of American blues and Bob Dylan. Great food and live music--very much worth the trek up to Erice.

β β β β β We stopped in a shop to buy a souvenir and the lovely young lady recommended this place to us. She admitted that it belongs to her and her husband but she assured us that all the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. We were so glad we listened to her advice and gave it a try. The food was tasty (lots of seafood but some meat dishes, also) and the waiter entertained us with some singing accompanied by guitar. Try the Cataratto white wine. Excellent!

β β β β β After a week+ in Sicily, it has been the first time I was disappointed foodwise. The service was nice but the the starter was tasteless and the pasta overcooked (they got the order of my friend wrong so my pasta had to wait to come out of the kitchen)
Moreover they were very disorganized

β β β β β Husband loved the tonno agrodolce and i tried a Zebra hamburger. It was very gamey but fun to try. Chef was super friendly and offered me a glass of wine while I waited for my to-go order.
Kitchen also visible from dining room with glass wall so you can watch the chef in action !

β β β β β Not good value for money. Caponata was sour, prawns were not consistently cooked. The mussels were good.
The staff is lovely and very helpful but the chef was a bit a of sketch: fun guy but should focus on the kitchen.
Not the worst place but you should manage you expectations.
Our order: we had the Mussels with lemon as a starter. Busiate with squid ink and king prawns with Caponata as main dishes.
