F	Fabrizio Russo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo arrivati fino al parcheggio adiacente all' ingresso del borgo ma non siamo riusciti a pagare il parcheggio!!! Non avevamo infatti moneta e nella macchinetta per il pagamento del parcheggio il pagamento con carta di credito non funzionava. Anche l' app non funziona perché il gestore telefonico nella nostra disponibilità non ha copertura. Allora abbiamo chiesto all' info point turistico ma ci hanno spiegato che loro si occupano di informazioni turistiche e non d fornire monete per il parcheggio. Ci siamo spostati dunque verso la biglietteria della funivia per tentare di scambiare anche questa dell'anno moneta ma ci hanno detto che avevano poca moneta e non potevano occuparsi del parcheggio. In compenso l' addetto al controllo del pagamento del ticket volteggiava tentano di beccare il possibile evasore. Per carità persona gentile si è messo pure a disposizione tentando di risolvere il problema con stratagemmi tecnologici ma a noi ci era già passata la poesia. Ce ne siamo andati e tornando verso casa pensavamo agli esercizi commerciali del borgo penalizzati da tali incredibili inefficienze. Sarà questa la rivoluzione digitale di cui tanto parlano i giornali? Non saprei. Per intanto vorremo suggerire al sindaco di Erice di andare a casa. Lui il sindaco ma non lo sa fare. E questo sarà poco ma sicuro. Erice merita di più. We arrived at the parking lot adjacent to the entrance of the village but we were unable to pay for the parking !!! In fact, we had no money and in the parking payment machine the credit card payment did not work. Even the app does not work because the telephone operator in our availability does not have coverage. So we asked the tourist info point but they explained that they deal with tourist information and do not provide coins for parking. We then moved to the ticket office of the cable car to try to exchange this year too but they told us that they had little money and could not take care of the parking. On the other hand, the person in charge of checking the payment of the ticket hovered trying to catch the possible tax evader. For heaven's sake, a kind person has also made himself available trying to solve the problem with technological tricks but we had already passed the poem to us. We left and returning home we thought of the shops in the village penalized by such incredible inefficiencies. Will this be the digital revolution that newspapers talk about so much? I do not know. In the meantime we would like to suggest to the mayor of Erice to go home. He is the mayor but he doesn't know how to do it. And this will be little but sure. Erice deserves more.

Politica assente, uffici comunali (tecnico soprattutto) carenti di serietà e professionalità. Se volete abitare o investire a Erice preparatevi a cozzare con la Sicilia più arcaica, antica, obsoleta, fatiscente che c'è!!!!! I put 3 stars because the city really deserves to be visited and, also, inhabited all year round. Breathtaking panorama. To be enjoyed every day. Absent politics, municipal offices (above all technical) lacking seriousness and professionalism. If you want to live or invest in Erice get ready to clash with the most archaic, ancient, obsolete, dilapidated Sicily there is !!!!!
