Location come se ne vedono poche in
giro , soprattutto in Località molto spartane e rustiche come questo Borgo Medioevale .....
Allestimento gatto con gusto e soprattutto seguendo un “ filo logico “ artistico che sapientemente il Commendatore Don Ignazio ha predisposto nelle varie Sale espositive nel corso degli anni !!

Cat set up with taste and above all following an artistic "logical thread" that the Commendatore Don Ignazio has wisely prepared in the various exhibition rooms over the years !!

Leider ist dazu zu sagen, dass, obwohl bei einer Direktsendung (Export) in die Schweiz keine italienische Mehrwertsteuer (IVA 22%) fällig ist, Maison Altieri diese bei Direktsendungen in die Schweiz nicht abziehen will. Als Kompromiss wurde uns vorgeschlagen, die Ware bei Versand mit einem tieferen Warenwert zu deklarieren, sodass die zu entrichtende Mehrwertsteuer (MWST) in der Schweiz tiefer ausfallen würde. Da uns dieses Geschäftsgebahren fragwürdig erschien, verzichteten wir auf den Kauf der fraglos wunderschönen Keramik.
Beautiful traditional Sicilian ceramics. Unfortunately, it must be said that although no Italian VAT (IVA 22%) is due for direct shipments (export) to Switzerland, Maison Altieri does not want to deduct this for direct shipments to Switzerland. As a compromise, it was suggested to us that the goods should be declared with a lower value when shipped, so that the value added tax (VAT) to be paid in Switzerland would be lower. Since this business practice seemed questionable to us, we refrained from buying the undoubtedly beautiful ceramics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you ever visit Erice and have short time to spend up-there, you may find anyway at Maison Alfieri the perfect location to see the best of ceramics in Sicily. Alfieri proposes craft from all the possible sicilian origins and some remarkable artefact inspired to the tradition and revisited. The owner as the employees are very informative. It sincerely deserves a glance ...and a bit more. Only three stars because their website is simply terrible, and gives no idea of how their shop is beautiful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice ceramics. We have been to Sicily twice and each time we went here to get some souvenirs which now grace our home. Helpful staff and you can get your purchases shipped home directly if you don't want to drag them around or risk breaking therm in your checked luggage
