★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo stati a cena all’aperto con una geniale soluzione per scaldarsi sotto l’ombrellone, fantastici tagliolini al tartufo fatti in casa che si sono dimostrati digeribili benissimo, solitamente il tartufo mi gioca brutti scherzi…. Un filetto sempre al tartufo ha colpito il mio palato, potevo tagliarlo con il coltello al rovescio, bravi davvero… non mi sono fatto mancare nulla, aperitivo prima di iniziare e il dolcetto per finire, un ottimo vino ha accompagnato il pasto…. Ci tornerò sicuramente con amici.
We had dinner outdoors with a brilliant solution to warm up under an umbrella, fantastic homemade tagliolini with truffles that proved to be very easily digestible, truffles usually play tricks on me .... A fillet always with truffles struck my palate, I could cut it upside down with a knife, really good ... I didn't miss anything, aperitif before starting and the dessert to finish, an excellent wine accompanied the meal…. I will definitely go back with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La titolare ed il cuoco, una giovane coppia che cerca di essere qualcosa di diverso nel panorama pistoiese. E anche solo per questo vanno sostenuti. Quindi Menù ricercato, ottimo vino, entre’ offerta dal cuoco, come nei migliori ristoranti. Ma non tutte le ricette funzionano. L’idea aggiuntiva geniale è che ad ogni piatto si può abbinare un cocktail che la titolare crea apposta, grazie alla sua grande sapienza e curiosità di scoprire nuovi gusti.
The owner and the cook, a young couple who try to be something different in the Pistoia landscape. And even for this alone they must be supported. So a refined menu, excellent wine, offered by the chef, as in the best restaurants. But not all recipes work. The brilliant additional idea is that each dish can be paired with a cocktail that the owner creates on purpose, thanks to her great knowledge and curiosity to discover new tastes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant in Pistoia!! During our stay in Pistoia my wife and I were looking for somewhere to eat that was away from the very busy Piazza della Sala area. We came across II Ceppo in the lovely Piazza Giovanni. The restaurant is very attractive and the food was outstanding (the fillet steak and carrot gnocchi was amazing...) served by very friendly, English speaking Italians who made us feel so welcome. We had such a lovely experience that we returned there the evening before going home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little restaurant at a great location in Pistoia. The owner, Chiara, is super friendly and takes great care of the guests.The cocktails which are all custom-made are insane as well as the fresh and creative food. Always a pleasure coming here during our vacation.
