★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good traditional Tuscan cuisine; we relished "pici with gravy of Cinto senese" and "maltagliati sull'anatra".
House wine was a tasty Chianti.
The place has two fronts, one in via del Lastrone and another facing the Baptistery.
It is advised to book in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost everything is perfect at La BotteGaia; the food, the wines and the location. The lamb racks were excellent. One thing could be better: the personnel. They are nice, but they could just be a bit more attentive. It looks like they have more time for their regulars than for us tourists. Their English is so-so, but that’s fine. Lets say I have had better in Italy.

I got a fast lunch, I have been delighted from a Asparagus pie with parmigiano muss, rostead potatoes and work wild erbs...
The taste was nice balanced, the veggies fresh and the service fast.
