★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a hotel with a nice view and this hotel definitely have one. The hotel has a 3rd floor terrace with an excellent view of the water and the Aragonese Castle & the shops around it which are all within 10 min walking distance. At the time of our visit there were fireworks at night from the castle and enjoyed the view from the terrace. The beaches are within 5min walk also. The #7 bus stop is also nearby it you need to go to the port area and visit other attractions in Ischia. Recommend that you also visit one of the hot springs resorts. We went to Negombo by bus and enjoyed the facilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely staff, great views and a reasonable price. Every website seemed to show most hotels in this price range as much the same, tiled floors, small rooms and old decor. All of that is true of Ulisse. But some great views of the castle, and being a bit further away from the busiest part of this locality, it's a good choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel by the city center, 10 minutes walking from shops and restaurants. Nice and friendly staff, good organization and clean rooms. We get two rooms in the hotel and one had a incredible view from the bay and the castle but with a small balcony, the other had a bigger and more comfortable balcony but poor view from the city center. Nice breakfast and they get some discount for city attractions

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 1 week at the hotel and was a good stay. Very friendly and nice service at check in, pool and breakfast. Big plus is the hotel has air conditioning. The pool was not crowded and big enough (not large). The rooms had well working air conditioning and there is also a small grocery store very close.
Our room had a regular enclosed shower with doors but other rooms we saw had the shower in the bath room itself only with a curtain around it but the shower was basically one corner of the room. So if you have a chance ask for a room with a regular shower.
Breakfast is the standard italian style with no warm options. Friendly service and was refilled quickly if anything run out.
Can't fault the hotel for anything. It is a bit older (decor, etc.) but well maintained. For a 3 star a good value for money.
Just keep in mind that it is not a modern US style 3 star hotel like a Hampton Inn or something similar and our ranking is based on the local standards in Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful terrace with panoramic views of the island. Good breakfast and rooms are comfortable. Somewhat dated, but great location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Town centre and port for ferries are also short walks away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice family owned hotel close to the beach. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Pool and all facilities are clean. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. After our third stay we recommend this hotel for a Ischia holiday.
