★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good free beach. Take a towels and tents. It can be cleaner, but ok for city beach. Water is better in morning and evening when majority of tourists are off to home. Has a volcanic sand and is suitable for little children. There are little shops around where you can find ice cream, chips, water etc.
Best view to Castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By noon in the summer the dark grey sand gets too hot to walk on barefoot, so bring flipflops. The beach is a narrow strip between the road and the water, as you can see on the map. Not too crowded on a weekday in the daytime. The water is clear, but has small flakes and dust floating on its surface.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect beach for people who are staying on the island only few hours. Very crowded during the weekend, the public space is very small. Highly recommended to bring/rent an umbrella (it’s possible to get one for 7 euro from one of the bars on the beach). Beautiful view!
