★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spiaggia libera attrezzata di bagni, il che è apprezzatissimo. Adiacente ad uno stabilimento balneare, con relativo bar dove acquistare bevande fredde. La spiaggia è sabbiosa, l'acqua tutto sommato abbastanza pulita e, non troppo fredda. Consiglio di andare la mattina presto, massimo per le 9,30 per poter trovare posto (in alta stagione). Il posto è tranquillo, anche se frequentato, e si accede dopo una camminata in una zona pedonale. Ci sono indicazioni da Lacco Ameno per il centro termale adiacente e per la Baia. Io mi sono recata a piedi dal porto di Casamicciola perché non sono passati pullman in quella finestra di tempo (mezz'ora di camminata sul lungomare e in mezzo al paese di Lacco Ameno), avevo già dato uno sguardo su Google Maps, quindi affidandomi a memoria visiva e indicazioni non ho avuto problemi. Ci ritornerò.
 Free beach equipped with bathrooms, which is very popular. Adjacent to a bathhouse, with its bar where you can buy cold drinks. The beach is sandy, the water all in all quite clean and not too cold. I recommend going early in the morning, up to 9.30 am in order to find a place (in high season). The place is quiet, even if busy, and can be accessed after a walk in a pedestrian area. There are indications from Lacco Ameno for the adjacent spa and for the Bay. I went on foot from the port of Casamicciola because no buses passed in that time window (half an hour walk on the seafront and in the middle of the village of Lacco Ameno), I had already taken a look on Google Maps, so relying on visual memory and indications I had no problems. I'll be back.

The place is beautiful. good beach services. Uncomfortable sunbeds, old umbrellas, unfriendly staff. Too expensive for the services offered. 25 euro umbrella and two deck chairs mid-September

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Spiaggia di San Montano, una piccola baia neo comune di Lacco Ameno, che ha un colpo d'occhio unico,
La sua forma ricorda quella della Luna, è famosa proprio per la sua bellezza.
Questa spiaggia si trova incastonata tra le lingue di terra di Monte Vico e Zaro, che raggiungono il mare da sopra la strada proncupale. La spiaggia è circondata da una ricca vegetazione che rende piacevole anche arrivare fin giù alla spiaggia. Ha fondale molto basso (a quasi 2 metri dalla riva si tocca ancora) ed una sabbia molto fine rispetto a quella presente su quest'isola vulcanica.
I mesi perfetti per frequentarla (anche perché qusta spiaggia non è proprio molto grande) sono da aprile a giugno e da fine settembre ed ottobre, in altri mesi estivi è molto affollata anche se abbastanza tranquilla. Questa bella spiaggia, che si trova esposta al vento maestrale, è soleggiata dalle ore 10 del mattino fino alle ore 18 del pomeriggio.

This beach is nestled between the strips of land of Monte Vico and Zaro, which reach the sea from above the main road. The beach is surrounded by rich vegetation which makes it pleasant even to go down to the beach. It has a very shallow seabed (almost 2 meters from the shore you can still touch it) and a very fine sand compared to that present on this volcanic island.
The perfect months to visit it (also because this beach is not really very big) are from April to June and from the end of September and October, in other summer months it is very crowded even if quite quiet. This beautiful beach, which is exposed to the mistral wind, is sunny from 10 in the morning until 18 in the afternoon.
