★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not stay here. The breakfast is nearly inedible, the “director” is rude as can be and refused to let us bring leftovers into our room even though they have room service at the hotel. Towels in the moldy bathroom are tissue thin and just when we thought that the use of beach towels was nice, they charged us $4 for them without advising us, it was just on our bill at the end. Walls are so thin so the rooms are extremely noisy. There are so many other options in town, don’t pick this over priced mess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great small hotel, very friendly personnel, delicious breakfasts near the pool (lots of fruits, cheese, juices, cakes etc.). The rooms are clean and well furnished in white-blue colours. The sea view is amazing. Location is great, 5 min walks to the beach and absolutely not a noisy street. Very calm and relaxing. Cannot comment spa since did not use it except for good hammam

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel staff and housekeeping are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is wonderful... great service and good menu selection. Breakfast was our favorite... The hotel is sparkling clean and well taken care of. The only issue that we had was noise. The walls are thin and you can hear the people in the next room as well as in the room above. (i.e. babies crying... people in the hall, etc)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a stunning hotel within walking distance is Ischia and the castle. The staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms spacious and well equipped.
We had a beautiful balcony over looking the castle and the sea.
We were out of season so things like the garden roof and the outdoor pool weren’t in service, but this wasn’t an issue.
Fantastic and would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, this isn’t a 4 stars resort, they act like they are. When I’ve arrived one person of the staff was very rude to me even if I’ve just asked at what time was the lunch. Also the prices are very expansive and the things that you pay for aren’t worth it. The rooms are very small and (just saying) when I went to other resorts even if they were 3 stars or 4 stars as this one, the rooms were bigger and more comfy. The pool isn’t that big and isn’t even that deep, you can always feel the floor. Besides that, the staff overall was very nice and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect stay. The hotel is very pleasant and offer a very pleasant service. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed a lot the roof terrace restaurant which from my experience counts as one of the best of Ischia. Strongly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I really enjoyed our 5 days at Villa Durrueli. Not only was it a beautiful hotel with a large pool, great tanning spots and a cafe by the pool together with lovely location. Also - and maybe most of all - the staff was absolutely amazing and all of them (!) did what they could to give us the best experience. Just to mention a few names: Sarah, Otto, Gian…(dont know how to spell) - the whole staff was extremely nice and lovely to be around. The restaurant at the roof top also really surprised us and it was an absolute gourmet experience with visits from the amazing chef and just a 100% wonderful experience and view. This is truly the place to stay when in Ischia! // Sissel and Simone
