 Clean and well-kept facility, warm and large pools, excellent hospitality. Amazing view. Efficient free shuttle service but I recommend car hire to get around this beautiful island

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived at reception hot, tired and irritable, having cut short our stay at another hotel. Our welcome restored our faith not only in human nature but in the hoteliers of Ischia. We could not have been more warmly welcomed and the unexpected upgrade was a pleasure.
Our room was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean with a modern twist and very comfortable beds. To be honest, once we arrived, we didn't leave again for the next five days - we simply didn't have to. We had booked on a half board basis and everything was to a high standard. The staff are attentive and friendly, the food and drink is fresh and tasty, the restaurant and pool bar facilities are exemplary. There is a generously sized main pool, which is not too deep - ideal for the less strong swimmers - and a smaller thermal pool which are very pleasant to alternate between.
Breakfast is on a buffet basis, with a generous spread that gets replenished over time. Dinner is served on the terrace (weather permitting) and the food is inventive and prepared to a high standard.
Bear in mind that this is a spa hotel, too. We availed ourselves of some of the treatments in a well-equipped and comfortable spa facility - heaven. Overall I simply cannot fault the Paradiso Terme - we will most definitely be back!
