★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: We had a great few days staying at Umberto A Mare - the room was beautiful, with an incredible view and balcony looking out to sea! Perfect little swimming platform as well. They are in a great location close to the centre of Forio, but still in a peaceful spot. Breakfast was very tasty! Would love to go back!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The view from out terrace was amazing, nice comfortable room, breakfast terrace was beautiful. Negative: The noise when the restaurant is being cleared up in the evening (restaurant is directly above rooms). Chairs and tables are scrapped across the floor for ages. The breakfast could be varied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The breakfast is excellent with a variety of fresh fruit, different sorts of bread and cake, marmelade, cheese, sausage. The restaurant in the hotel is very good as well. The hotel itself is overlooking the bay and every room has a view on the sea with it`s own balcony or terrace. The hotel has it`s own jetty from were you can access the sea or lie in the sun on a couple of ares and relax..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Good location - central to main town with great views across the bay.. Negative: Room was very small / shower was tiny. Allocated sun-beds were on the back row and in the shade. No safe in room . Fridge was balanced on a single brick and wobbled. Manager, Marco was very unhelpful. No buffet at breakfast due to Covid which was understandable, but no menu either. Waiter simply asked ‘what would you like’? We will not be returning to this hotel..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is really nice and the view on the sea is breathtaking. We went for a dinner, so I can judge the restaurant quality. I will give 3 out of 5 stars because the check was really high compared to the quality of the meals, I've loved one of them but the appetizers weren't so good. I was with my friends, we were 7 at the table and on 508 euro bill they asked also for the 8 euro , I think that it could have been nicer to delete the 8 euro from the bill. In the end, is good but be careful
