★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hot thermal pools were very relaxing and there were plenty of different pools to choose from so crowding was not an issue. Due to COVID, the saunas and turkish baths were not open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is a mixed bag, with some “no no”, the biggest is: kids below 12 = don’t go. There’s so little for them to do you will ruin your experience and be frustrated. They do check and tell you to move to one of the few authorized areas. Other annoyances are head cap and paying 1€ every time you access your locker.
The 3 above put of the way, Poseidon is an old but well maintained place with bath at different temperature. Most of it is outside, so check the temperature (and wind) suits you. Staff has not been helpful or pleasant, but that may be because we had a child less than 12 years or and could not speak italian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice located thermal park. Different pools, different water temperatures, different floors. Private beach included in the price.
You have to wear a swimming cap in all of the pools and pay 1€ for a locker every time you want to use it so keep all that you need with you and leave there the stuff you don’t need during your visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've returned to ischia from the States many times for the thermal waters. (and magic). Poseidon is worth every penny. it is immaculately curated and staffed. The food is quality. Here you will find very hot water. 40C with an ice cold kniepp pool. heaven. The beach (when the sand is there), is fantastic swimming. I enjoyed very much the Matrix massage from Cinzia. It was my first time for this therapy and I was very very pleased. She also used her very strong hands in addition to the machine. For perspective I also enjoy the primitive and remote hot springs at Cavascura on the other side of island. photographed here is the enourmous heated salt water pool . Amazing when the ocean was too chilly to enjoy. Plan to stay all day. The relaxation will suck you in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paradise on earth! Such a cool experience to do all of the thermal pools. Truly rejuvenating. We enjoyed a light lunch at the cafe that was excellent and they make a wonderful aperol spritz! I’d recommend spending at least a full afternoon here to fully enjoy the gardens!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Poseidon Gardens in Forio d'Ischia in the Citara bay is a simply spectacular thermal park, with countless heated swimming pools, with relative access to the Citara beach, welcoming and professional staff. The gardens are a must for those staying in Ischia. They have the particularity of being surrounded by about 25 swimming pools, from classic to salt water ones, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 40 degrees. Even more particular are the pools in which it goes from 40 to 15 degrees, the indoor pools and the Japanese bath (a tub of boiling and cold water with pebble flooring), as well as the Wellness Center / Sauna, all in order to reactivate circulation and give a day of well-being and relaxation. The gardens also guarantee access to Citara beach. Well done! Keep it up..
