★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was nice but hotel was difficult to find, had 3 good night's sleep here.
Shower was tempremental and drifted from warm to cold and to boiling hot depending on how hard the water pump worked, got used to it after the first day.
Hotel is well situated for viewing the Venice sights and outlying islands and there are plenty of restaurants within 50m of the front door although you would realise when you are in the hotel (quiet room).
Breakfast was poor with not much choice, had to settle for rolls, meat cheese, cakes & coffee as no cooked breakfast available.
All in all a nice place but if you are happy to pay more you could stay in a much better hotel but make sure you stay in San Marco as all the sights are right there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was fine, nothing too extravagant. The wait staff for breakfast could have been a bit nicer to their guests. Also this hotel does not come with complimentary wifi, you have to purchase it. It is not a bad hotel, but I would not stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amenities - This hotel offered no amenities really. There is a free breakfast, which offers very little, but standard for Italy. There is a safe in the room, that is more confusing that many other safes. A cat also roams the halls, which is kind of cool. Air conditioning was also broken in the room which was a problem.
Cleanliness - While I wouldn't say this hotel is necessarily dirty, it doesn't feel overly clean either. It is very run down, and feels that way in its upkeep. There is a musty smell to the room, which you will get used to, but shouldn't have to. Overall, this area could use improvement.
Service - The service here was extremely underwhelming as a whole. Everyone felt as if you were bothering them, from check in to check out. Very unfriendly! When we told them about the air conditioner being broken, they seemed as if they could care less, until we pressed the issue, and they reluctantly called someone. Again with the confusing safe, we had to have someone open it for us, and we received a *sigh* as the housekeeper went to open the safe for us. It seems as if they all hate their job.
Overall, this hotel is in a very convenient location to be able to get around Venice, but is not an ideal hotel. If it's very cheap, maybe give it a try. If something else is just a bit more spring for it, because it may be cleaner and you may feel more welcomed. Overall, this is a hotel to skip! They

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location! Room didn't look as on pictures at booking, but it was fine and clean. Be aware of the black cat wandering this hotel. :) Breakfast was super! Tea, coffee, juices, sweets, ham, cheese, müsli, yoghurt etc. City tax (around 7 € per night per person) must be paid in cash by checkout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room was tiny, but cosy. It was tidy and well kept. There was a nice breakfast with plenty of food and the staff here were very helpful at all times. It's location really is the king though. About 3 mins from San Marco Square and it was pretty quiet here too. Would definitely stay here again
