★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very pleasant time during our two night stay at the splendid Venice in August 2021. This hotel is optimally located as it is just a short walk away from the Rialto Bridge or to St. Mark's Square. The front desk staff were friendly, quick and efficient at checking us in upon our arrival. Further the hotel room had both type A and type G electrical sockets to accommodate travelers from the U.S. and the United Kingdom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great property! My sister and I stayed here at the end of July 2021. They were kind, quick, and efficient. Located in a great area near many restaurants and shops. We would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful room with A/C, a restaurant in house, and nice staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a reservation for 2 nights. The employees were friendly and helpful. We requested a double bed, but we’re given 2 twin beds pushed together. The bedroom was clean the only downside was the bathroom ceiling was leaking. (See pictures) we had 2 leaks one above the bathtub and the other above the sink right beside a light. That was a bit concerning because of the electrical wiring.
We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel the location of the hotel is central nice shops and cafes all within walking distance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is based on 6 nights, July/August as a couple. Beautiful gorgeous hotel, so well located and love that very VIP arrival by boat to the entrance. The staff were amazing, so lovely and helpful. When I mention "staff" I mean everyone from the front desk, to the bellhops, the restaurant staff, the rooftop bar staff and room service team. I spent many evenings at the rooftop bar enjoying the Venice skyline and the barmen were great. I'm absolutely baffled by certain peoples comments regarding a bad experience. Over 6 nights/7 days it was really a wonderful experience. The plus, we had a view over the canal and the passing gondolas and boats provided great amusement. And a very special GRAZIE to the Room Service Signora lady who leaves us heart chocolates every night before bed (she put them there while we were out at dinner), and freshened the room with new towels at least twice a day, or after our use of them. This is very VIP. Incredible attention to detail. Reserve Splendid hotel without any hesitation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel with good facilities and amazing roof terrace, with a great location right in the heart of Venice. Best of all, the staff are great - friendly and welcoming. The porters are so nice, and Pietro on the front desk was really helpful in sorting out the right room for us and giving us tips on the local area. Top class.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hotel, well located within few minutes from St Mark's square. The staff was very nice and even let us check in earlier. Comfortable room, the doorman was always nice ready to open the door, lovely hotel restaurant with delicious meals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice hotel in the best location of Venice, very close to main restaurants and stores. Highly recommended. Very comfy rooms, super clean and nice views.! Would come back.
The bed was very good but unfortunately they were 2 beds put together, which i personally dislike.
Also you can hear the street noise from the bedroom.. if you are unlucky this can easily wake you up.
Besides this 2 things it was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location. But careful at the bar they will rip you off.
I was charged 22 euros for 2 coffee and 1 glass of champagne. I tried to challenge it and the guy pretended to not understand me all of a sudden. I asked for a recite and he walked away. Everyone else at this hotel is wonderful and goes above and beyond. We are having our wedding reception here. So I'll warn the guests of this behavior at the bar.
I didn't have the energy to argue because my fiance wasn't feeling well. And later we were in the restaurant to try the food for the wedding. The food was amazing. We loved it. Hopefully this won't happen to the guests. If the price was correct then I'm sorry for the review. Other hotels even the Hilton didn't charge this for coffee. Hence why I was shocked.
