★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heads up: stay away! It was freezing cold and damm wet in Venice and there are no room heaters. Disgusting. On asking owner/reception answer was it is venice, really? It was super annoying for me. Rooms are very congested, smells bad. No locker, cupboard etc. No elevator and so many stairs, its crazy to take four floors to your room with luggage. No value for your money. And I had a really uncomfortable feel there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location, but a very uncomfortable stay. It's near San Marco, one of the major attractions, but the room was muggy and hot. We opened the window, but then I couldn't sleep because of the mosquito that flew in the screenless windows. The bathroom had black mold in it, so I didn't even want to shower. The hostel does not have laundry facilities, but there's a laundromat across the street that charges €10/kg, which is obviously far more expensive than a real hostel. The receptionist was not very helpful, and only gave me a map of the city, as he didn't really speak too much English, and he didn't even know about the free walking tour. Finally, the narrow steps are a possible hazard for the less nimble. I considered moving, but it's outside my budget. I would definitely not recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life. They placed us on the 4th floor, in a room dirty all covered with old carpets, old furnitures, old curtains. The shower smells gross and full of mold. There is no aircon so it is super hot, no blanket as well and i wont recommend you opening the window at night since in the morning you will found yourself bitten by an entire neighborhood of mosquitoes. All that for a very expensive price more than 100euro! The only thing good about this hotel is their location that is not far from Doge Palace, other than that I wont recommend this place at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They don’t offer restroom in the lobby even there’s one. It’s not clean. The room is outdated. The sockets are not enough. Also there are no lockers. The reception is not professional as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My stay in Hotel Casa Linger was actually nice. Bathroom is clean and good service. Got a nice check-in talk with the employee/owner on the reception where he made sure i will get back to him if anything is needed or if im not comfortable with people im sharing the room with. Thanks and see you soon!
