★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purposefully waited until our trip was over to confirm my review of this place that was sent from heaven. In the 6 cities we visited, this was by far our favorite spot for gelato. I dislike the basic mass produced flashy display gelato shops, which was why when we saw this adorable shop that you almost can’t even tell us a gelato shop, we knew we were in the right place. With the absolute tastiest pistachio and hazelnut we’ve ever had, and the sweetest owner we’ve ever met, this was hands down a number one for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good gelato! The flavors were great and the ingredients used are clearly top notch. Our only thing was that it is not as creamy as we thought but still very good. Prices are also reasonable and the woman working is super friendly as well. The whipped cream and cookie on the top is nice touch too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gelato should taste creamy and vibrant, and Gelateria del Viale provides just that. The raspberry flavor is tart but not too overpowering. The stracciatella is rich and chocolatey. I'd happy enjoy a cup from them again. Restrooms are not available and there isn't room to eat inside the shop.
