★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrival: Early afternoon on a weekday and it was fairly quiet but this café is off the main roads so the peacefulness was welcomed with a cosy seating area outside under the shade.
Service: 5 stars aren't enough as we were served within seconds and the waiter was very helpful in providing recommendations especially when I had a nut allergy to be mindful of. Bonus points for understanding and acknowledging dietary requirements, as I appreciate that this isn't common practice in Rome or it's probably down to my lack of Italian.
Food: We had two iced coffees, strawberry tart and ventaglio. It was brought to us very quickly with complimentary sparkling water (nice touch as it was scorching) and the waitress was really polite. Everything tasted great, the desserts were buttery, crumbly, fresh and creamy.
Overall, I would love to revisit this quaint café and send flocks of other travellers to its door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly the perfect place for breakfast or afternoon coffee in Trastavere. The coffee is terrific, as are the lovely pastries, plain, jam or chocolate filled. The proprietors are friendly, the tables are shaded and the street reasonably free of traffic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in during a Saturday morning wander. Great range of treats and staff were really nice and helpful. They spoke excellent English between them as sadly my Italian is terrible.
Cappuccino was delicious. Highly recommend.
