★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you find yourself in need of gelato in Trastevere, Fonte della Salute Roma offers ALL organic (bio) gelato with plenty of vegan options. Fantastic flavors (from pineapple and basil to toasted pistachio), and the menu changes seasonally. Prices are consistent with the whole of Rome: 2.50 - > 3.50. It’s quickly becoming a go to spot.

Off the touristy area. Piero,who works there is super friendly and would recommend some of the best flavors. Ricotta pear, orange chocolate and rum-chocolate were my favorites.
