★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A real treasure. The view, the wine and the plates. All first rate. Adore this happy multi generation operation including the very talented Brazilian wife cook whose adds her delicate twist on a delicious Tuscan fare. And their Nobile de Montepulciano is a grace from heaven: rich, structured yet soft and airy. When can I go back?!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away, a lovely terrace bar. We walked past it twice walking up the hill to Montepulciano, the alleyway you walk up isn't very nice which stopped us from visiting the first few days, how wrong we were. Its a lovely place with great staff and incredibly welcoming with good food and wine produced on site. I wish I'd discovered it before my last day. Away from the hustle and bustle and tourist traps of the main town. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place, we just walked in with no reservation and the host was friendly and nice. Food is great (Steak with Rosemary, and Potatoes with cheese are highly recommended), good wine and nice relaxing view. A must visit if you’re around the area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! The food was authentic and the wine tasting is a must!! We tried both wine tasting options with our dinner. The desert was great try the pecorino pudding and mascarpone pudding you will be wowed!! I also purchased 6 bottles from them and they gave me a great deal. If you have a little money to spend go with a few of the aged bottles it's well worth it if you know your wine. They also ship the wine too and trust me it's well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant on the southern edge of town located in a former monastery. They serve all the local classics like 'pici' pasta with a variety of sauces to choose from and some great starters like the mixed 'bruschetta' plate (pictured). There's seating outside (reserve in advance) and lots of room in the cavernous refectory inside. Plenty of wine and a cave that can be visited. Enjoy the journey!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolute must if you are looking to visit a winery whilst in Montepulciano. We booked a table for lunch and we were absolutely blown away. The food is locally sourced, the wine was exceptional and the atmosphere stunning. There was a live band playing throughout lunch which created the perfect experience. To top it off the owner, who was super friendly, welcomed us in for a wine tasting. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Book in advance if you can, we were lucky that there was availability due to the pandemic.
