★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stop here for lunch and be patient, there's no rush in Tuscany. Enjoy the view, eat Ribollita and all the fresh vegetables they have to offer (own production). Excellent food and such a nice service. Grazie, you're in my heart!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a delicious and HUGE dish of pici pasta, covered in a pecorino and truffle sauce, at Sax Wine Bar in Montepulciano. I visited just for the day from Siena & I loved every minute there - Montepulciano is such a beautiful town to visit in Tuscany - it’s now one of my favourite places in Italy and I already can’t wait to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great spot, the fact they make all their food behind a small bar area is amazing. Quality of pasta was awesome, great house wine, this is the true experience you look for in a smaller town, great prices compared to other "fancier" spots with larger portions and similar quality food. Don't be scared off, very nice people who work very hard. I don't think panzanella is on the menu but I asked for it and got it and it was delicious , like my nonna would make.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great wine bar. You can also get cheese and meat boards (meats freshly sliced). Also Panini and pizzas. Nice atmosphere and great food and wine. Also you can get coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little bar/cafe in montepulciano. The food was so good, all freshly made with great wines. We were only in montepulciano for 2 days but came here twice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can start with positive side - pasta and soup were tasty and the cook was nice.
Now for the other part... When we came in, we had to wait so long to be served that I came to the bar to make sure we should tell our order to the waitress or at the bar. When the waitress finally came, she didn't even respond to "thank you"s and such. After that we had to wait a lot for our food. As I said it was good, but the portion of pasta was small and both dishes were expensive compared to their quality and quantity.
