A	Avi Jager on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HIGHLY IMPORTANT: Do not come unless you made a reservation. This place is really famous and packed almost every evening. The concept here is all you can eat meat, root vegetables, potato and bread. The meat is super high-quality, they grill it next to the tables in a huge barbecue, which is both impressive and awakes your appetite. Important Tips: first, come hungry, come very hungry. Second, come ready to mingle and meet new people. You won't be sitting alone just you and your partner, but in tables of six or more. Part of the experience here is to develop a conversation with your table mates. It turned out to be an important part of the amazing experience we had here. Third, don't bother coming a long time before the time of your reservation, and don't bother queueing at the entrance. The door of the restaurant is locked until the official opening hour. When they open the door, they read names from the name list they have, and allow people in according to the the order of the reservations.
I	Irenee Hu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is most beloved and popular restaurant in Montepulciano, it’s a carnivore’s heaven and mest lover’s dream. They chop and cut fresh T-Bone & Sirloin Steak and does perfect grilling. They would weight and bring the raw meat out for your approval before they grill. If you ain’t happy with your raw meat, they will cut n chop off a new slice of steak for you. The waiter speak excellent English and some also speak French. They turn table twice for both lunch and dinner. It’s almost impossible to get in without a reservation. Always put your name & number down. We also enjoyed their Tagliatelle with mushroom, hope to go back to get some truffle soon.

This place is special, the owner basically comes to your table, asks you how big your stake is supposed to be, but actually he takes a good look at you and tells/suggests how big that steak should be - and let me tell you, he knows it best, so go with his suggestion. Steak is on spot, my wife was pregnant during our visit and they easily accommodated to make a piece of the steak well done for her too. Starters and sides were great as well. Will come back! Actually can’t wait to bring my friends ?

J	James on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor standard of service. I went to this place the first time at opening time at 12.30pm on 28 July service was relatively good and reasonable. I was shocked , the next day I came , service was non existent, bread was not serve to my table but to every other table , maybe I’m a single person or I’m not Italian ? Next , I was served by this young waiter and was told that they do not serve 400g in steak and the minimum is 1kg , that’s funny , 1 day before I came and the Chef is able to show me the different meat and a choice of 300 or 400 grams, I was surprise by the flexibility and warm of the Chef. With the good food, I was convinced to make a booking the next evening. But I was very Disappointed by the difference in standards between the two service.

By a stroke of luck we called in the afternoon and got a table for dinner, but it’s tiny so you should call a week in advance or have your host try to make a reservation. They tell you the weight of the steak they have, you pick, and voila a perfectly seared T bone arrives at your table. It’s rare but so tender and not chewy at all. Please don’t be like the people sitting next to us asking for well done steak… this is not the place for you if you don’t like delicious food! Just sit back and enjoy. The family running it was so sweet and the wine was crazy cheap. Must visit when in Tuscany.

If you like steak more cooked, simply ask. :-) + Appetizers are very tasty (smoked burrata and peer / percorini). + Nice and cozy + owners cook with passion for food and guest. + Very reasonable pricing You definitely need a reservation!
