Si trova addossata al complesso del San Michele. Dal centro del timone fuoriesce l’acqua che si riversa un bacino semicircolare. A forma di coppa. Ai lati sono presenti due stemmi che rappresentano il comune di Roma con la scritta SPQR. La fontana fu costruita negli anni trenta e fa parte della serie delle fontanelle rionali, progettate dall’architetto Pietro lombardi e fu edificata di fronte allo scomparso Porto di Ripa Grande, NOTA 1 Significato di SPQR dal latino "Senatvs Popvlvs Qve Romanvs". In italiano "il Senato e il Popolo Romano".
