A supporto è ricostruita la vegetazione di papiri. L'opera è del 1868. A	Alessio Fauni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Devo dire che ho trovato sia la zona intorno alla fontana che la stessa acqua all'interno veramente molto pulita e ordinata. La fontana, seppur non spettacolare è assolutamente aggraziata nelle sue forme architettoniche e si inserisce perfettamente in questa zona circondata da bellissime essenze vegetali. Sicuramente un angolo del parco che vale la pena di vedere. I have to say that I found both the area around the fountain and the very very clean and tidy water inside. The fountain, although not spectacular, is absolutely graceful in its architectural forms and fits perfectly in this area surrounded by beautiful plant essences. Definitely a corner of the park that is worth seeing.
A	Andrea Remine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La fontana si trova in asse col belvedere di piazzale Napoleone ed è costituita da un ampio bacino circolare con al centro una marmorea statua femminile, «paludata in una lunga tunica che ricade in pieghe eleganti e composte», chinata sull'acqua nell'atto di raccogliere la cesta di vimini contenente un bambino. Il gruppo, che raffigura la leggenda del piccolo Mosè salvato dalle acque dalla figlia del Faraone, è posto sopra una scogliera sulla quale sono dislocati tre zampilli. Nella grande vasca, ricca di vegetazione lacustre rievocante il lontano Nilo, spiccano l'edera e, ovviamente, il papiro. La statua ha la mano destra mutilata di quattro dita. L'opera secondo alcuni sarebbe stata eseguita dallo scultore Francesco Massimiliano Laboureur, di origine francese ma nato a Roma (1767-1831), secondo altri dal conte Ascanio di Brazzà. Il gruppo marmoreo venne comunque inserito nel 1868 entro il bacino preesistente. The fountain is located in axis with the viewpoint of piazzale Napoleone and consists of a large circular basin with a marble statue in the center, "swathed in a long tunic that falls in elegant and composed folds", bent over the water in the act of collect the wicker basket containing a child. The group, which depicts the legend of little Moses saved from the waters by the daughter of the Pharaoh, is placed on a cliff on which three jets are located. In the large basin, rich in lake vegetation reminiscent of the distant Nile, the ivy and, obviously, the papyrus stand out. The statue has four fingers mutilated in his right hand. According to some, the work was carried out by the sculptor Francesco Massimiliano Laboureur, of French origin but born in Rome (1767-1831), according to others by Count Ascanio di Brazzà. The marble group was however inserted in 1868 within the pre-existing basin.
