★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ambience, and very professional staff. Everything is good, apart one thing; the price! The African in me was shocked to be charged 200 euros for such minute, leave alone small, quantity of food. Luckily, I wasn't the one who paid the bill, but flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a restaurant - 1 Michelin star but going on 2 in our book. Absolutely stunning room with beautiful local artwork which seemed to have a playlist to match it (they change the art regularly). Honestly this is one of the best meals we have had anywhere. We ordered the 5 course tasting with matched wine - they have a 7 and 9 course option but you will need to prepare your stomach for those as the 5 course was perfect - with amuse bouche (4) plus stunning bread and pates and additional desert we were stuffed at the end. All the food beautifully explained, designed, presented and the fact we were offered room temperature or cold water is a great attention to detail. Definitely worth a detour if you are close by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another well deserved Michelin star, sophisticated cooking but still respecting Tuscan locale flare!!! Their cheese soufflé with truffle is a must!!! We shared most of the dishes and the amuse bouche down to the desserts were immaculate! Price for food and multiple drinks and tip is good - not complaining!
The restaurant itself is so cosy and very inviting - both our hosts were amazing and we were lucky to be on a secretary desk which I assume it’s antique ;)
Maybe wine by glass could be a larger selection?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a trip to Europe and I visited 3 one star Michelin. One in Athens and the other two in Italy. One at Rome and the other is cum quibus. I had the degustation menu in all of them and this was super paired with the one in Rome. The service is AMAZING. The food is delicious, super intriguing, flavorful and lots of good textures. The place is lovely, small, not that much tables so I would reserve it before hands. Decoration is a mixture of modern meets the medieval time. Lovely.
The only thing that bothered me enough to take one star was that the waiters did not talk English very well difficulting to understand what I was eating. One out of the 3 waiters that served me had a good English and since I'm not American or born in a English speaking country it was tough at times.
Apart from that particular thing the rest was lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! Just amazing! This was an outstanding experience! A one in a lifetime experience. We did the 7 courses with paired wine. Very full afterwards. The staff was incredible, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The texture and flavor of every dish was outstanding! Definitely recommend if you can get a table! Amazing!

De egg with the truffle was super surprising.
The wine pairing was also interesting.
Very nice and thoughtful service and chef.
Excellent Innovative cuisine!!
The only downside of their excellent kitchen and succes is that you feel that it's a lot of pressure.
But overall a fabulous experience!!
And a very very good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a lovely little restaurant in de heart of San Gimignano, the courtyard seats you beautifully and gives an authentic feeling. The menu was great and the wines served were something special that you won’t easily find anywhere else. Food was local with a global touch, and the staff was super friendly and comforting. Go eat here when you’re in the neighbourhood! It’s 100% worth it.
