★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food atmosphere and service. Bit of a saffron theme for their dishes. Saffron pasta was okay but preferred their meat pica dish. Saffron panna cotta was good. They don't serve tiramisu here. Excellent half bottles of wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food and friendly people. We enjoyed the parpardelle pasta and the vegetable soup Tuscan way. It was nice to eat outside at the terrace with an agreeable temperature of 22 degrees. The prices were quite high and the portions rather small but after all we enjoyed our stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastically authentic local food with a warm welcome. In a small town like San Gimignano there are a lot of tourist trap restaurants with poor food and high prices … this was not one of them. The pici pasta was delicious but the meat mains were amazing, slow cooked beef in red wine, wild boar stew and tender roasted lamb. The staff were welcoming and gave us some good ideas for our afternoon gelato too!! The only downside was not enough customers so visit here please!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ best Pappardelle with creamy mushroom and truffle sauce. such good texture. Really would come back.
Also the Italian beef in Chianti wine was very good.
Red wine 1/2 bottle was good too.
The dessert was homemade panna cotta with strawberry jam - also very nice.
