m	mark hildred on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a magical place. The food was awesome , the best polenta I've had in Valtinella. Portions of everything were huge and real hearty home cooking. Staff were great. On top of all that it's a really fairytale place to eat, nestled open air in a little valley . Lots of greenery and water - very different and lovely.

Their staple is the local polenta plus meat - we had the mixed grill plus one with local lake fish (salty, but good). Wine is 1.5 euro a glass or 6 euro a liter! But what makes it amazing is the grotto - it's in a canyon with a waterfall before you. I've never eaten somewhere like this. It's worth the hike up from Varenna, and look for the secret trail back down.

G	Gill Garbourg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the wait! This gem of a restaurant is currently open only Saturday and Sunday from noon-2pm. We kept coming back until we gave up and made a reservation and then understood their limited operations. We had the local cheese and meat plate, and the ribs, sausage and polenta meal. The food was really fantastic, but the beauty of the location sets the tone for the food to come. They also had fresh berry pie that came out of the oven when we arrived, which was amazing!!! Don't come to Perledo without visiting this place. We recommend to start the morning at Vezio castle, and then lunch at Pepot.

The meats and polenta were delicious- we got the ribs/sausage plate to share and it was plenty of food for my husband and I. The house wine was also wonderful. Not only is the place gorgeous and overlooking beautiful water, the servers and staff are all super friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone!
