★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was weirdly incompetent as out of 3 waitresses only one was taking orders, or even handing out menus... we tried ordering more wine but it was never delivered.
The food was bland and the purée was tasteless and watery.
Would not recommend to walk down to Varenna for a much better and CHEAPER experience.
Two plates and two beers for 66 euros

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our second time in Varenna/Lake Como and here we had the best food by far around this area. The menu is carefully managed and the staff is great; professional and super friendly. Both the fish and pasta options we had were great quality and big portions. The complimentary soup was a nice surprise and so tasty. Thank you for a great dinner! Will definitely return :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly attentive staff. Beautiful views of the lake. Attractive decor. Fabulous food - had the most divine steak cooked to perfection - probably the best steak I've ever had. Good menu and wine list. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is booked out on many days, so make sure to reserve when you go here. If you are very hungry and wish to eat soon, then you might want to choose a different place... we waited over 2 hours for our main course and the portions are small. The food is prepared with lots of love and care though and absolutely delicious, so if you are willing to wait a while, enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food! A short walk from Varenna and certainly worth it. The zucchini flowers were the best we’ve had, staff was very friendly, and the pasta we had for our main dishes were perfect. I wish we were staying longer so we could go there again.
