G	Garrett N. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice sort of hidden spot away from all the touristy restaurants. Reservations are recommended as this place only has a few tables. We got lucky since we showed up when they opened and were able to sit at a table outside. The chef and servers were very pleasant and professional. The dishes were good and presented well. By far, our favorite was the homemade pasta, orecchiette — the chef’s grandma’s recipe! ?

The staff was very attentive and efficient. We initially got a bottle of wine that we didn’t like and they graciously exchanged it for another. My wife said the eggplant was the best she’d ever had. I loved the swordfish pasta ragout enough to order it twice. Among other things we had exquisite cheese platter and extraordinary tiramisu. The food was phenomenal. We sat outside and were blessed to have beautiful weather and a lovely view. You will not be disappointed.

We booked a table (I think it's a must) but wanted to sit outside, unfortunately no table outside was available. A bit disappointing but fine. We asked the waiter to move us outside once a table becomes available but really there was no time for this as our food arrived within 5min from ordering, which kind of ruined the whole experience of 'fine dining' - we were finished in less than 30 min from arriving to the place. Perhaps our mistake was to order primi piatti only, but seriously, we were not expecting to be served so quickly. On a positive side, the service is very nice and attentive, it is a family restaurant. The food was very nice.

The only thing is that the food is too salty for me. I had the spinach ravioli. The sauce is very delicious. They claim the filling contains only ricotta cheese and spinach, however, the filling tastes very starchy(like breadcrumbs or something) to me. The salted and dried lake fish is very interesting and unique. Again it is a bit too salty. I think it might be improved if it were first soaked in water (to reduce saltiness) and then baked. This way, the remaining fishbone will also become crispy and less of a problem.

To find this place: go down the stairs between shops 13 and 15. Make a right turn about 2 flights down. The restaurant will be on your left.
