★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very beautiful church very close to St. Peter's adorned with Renaissance frescoes and statuary. It also includes a niche featuring a large portrait of the late Pope John Paul II. We attended a Mass in Polish (4pm local time, Sunday) and wondered if the church had a special meaning for "Saint John Paul the Great" during his life. Worth a visit for certain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ +JMJ...When in Rome on pilgrimage, 2000 to 2009, this Church was one for regular devotional visitation to join the locals to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Stations of the Cross at the 3 o'clock hour. Tremendously spiritually uplifting being united with many who I couldn't speak to because I don't speak Italian, but who I could unit in prayer because of the language of love of God and neighbor. And, as with many of the Churches that I would visit (as many as my feet and legs would take me to each day!) there is found in this Church artistic treasures which will not be found anywhere else! A joy to visit for personal devotions, to join others or to just take in all the beautiful artwork.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the church a few years back with a pilgrimage group. It is much more beautiful than I expected inside. They have a special devotion to the divine mercy and organize divine mercy Chaplet every day at 3 pm. The presence of confessors without much rush is another beautiful aspect of this church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I were walking home from a day at the Vatican and came across this beautiful church. We went in and found the wonderful devotion to the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. My wife and I are part of a prayer group that has been praying the Chaplet every night for about a year and half on Zoom video. One of our prayer group members is in the hospital and was not doing very well. What a blessing to a light prayer candle here and pray for our friends healing.
