This is another good sunset option as you get a better view of St.Peters and the sun setting in the backdrop of st.Peters dome. Your hop on hop off buses stop here. You get some nice post card pictures from the bridge.

Gorgeous view in all directions and quite an impressive structure. The inside of the castle is not much to look at tbh. But worth the visit for the view. Also there is a cafe at the top, if you are lucky enough to catch a table, you are in for a treat…

Incredible views. I was a little skeptical about the admission price, but it was more than worth it, especially the rooftop view of the city skyline. As with all major tourist attractions in Rome, make sure to get here early in the morning to avoid huge crowds and lines.

Discovered a park behind the castle to take the kids if they get tired of sightseeing. The castle location itself and unique structure are a must see if you’re near the Vatican. Plenty of vendors to buy food and drink from and even a restroom for €1(a nice find in Rome ?). Inside tours are available if you want to go inside.

On our visit to Rome, my friend suggested that we go tour the outside of the castle. When we got there we decided to tour the inside as well. I am so glad we did. It was interesting touring the castle as we slowly made our way to the top Along the way, you could observe the architecture of the castle which I have never been in one so that was cool. There were also sculptures and paintings as well. But the real highlight was the view from the top! You see all of Rome. We got there around sunset which was perfect. Got some lovely shots of the river, the Pantheon, and St. Peter's Basilica. If you have time it is worth the effort.

Really amazing castle on the bank of Tevere ? It’s beautiful both inside and out. A huge angel state greets us on the bridge before we enter to the castle. It is also worth walking inside because some windows offer a wonderful view ? You can also go out to the roof of the castle and worth it because you can see almost whole Roma… ?

Quiet an impressive castle! Didn't go inside but the surroundings, especially at sunset, are lovely and give you that warm feeling. There was a street artist nearby playing and singing, which made the environment feel even more special. For sure one of the best time I had on my visit to Rome

I would recommend doing a private tour. My girlfriend and I spent 3 hours with our guide. She knew all the ins and outs of the castle. There is no parking. There was a contemporary art installation at the time and it was awful. There were statues in the courtyards, it took away from the architecture and the surrounding courtyards. The history was fascinating. The view from the bastions we're outstanding. We went in march and the weather was beautiful. Inside the castle it can get cold, dress accordingly.
