★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le proporzioni e la realizzazione stessa della statua, sono veramente incredibili e raffigurano al meglio l'importantissima figura dell'Imperatore Adriano. Peccato non essere riuscito a trovare maggiori riferimenti storici di questa bellissima statua, che vista dal vivo, in questo contesto, il parco di Castel Sant'Angelo, lo rendono un'opera veramente da non perdere.
The proportions and the realization of the statue itself are truly incredible and best represent the very important figure of Emperor Hadrian. It is a pity not to have been able to find more historical references of this beautiful statue, which seen live, in this context, the park of Castel Sant'Angelo, make it a truly unmissable work.

La posizione è perfetta sia per quanto riguarda il parco e sia per quanto riguarda Castel Sant'Angelo...sembra proprio che l'imperatore guardi fiero la fortezza papale! Consiglio un passaggio sia per il parco che per la statua!
In the heart of the Parco della Mole Adriana there is this beautiful statue dedicated to the emperor Hadrian. The location is perfect both as regards the park and as regards Castel Sant'Angelo ... it seems that the emperor looks proudly at the papal fortress! I recommend a ride for both the park and the statue!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All’ombra del suggestivo Castel Sant’Angelo, nel Rione XIV (Borgo), si trova una bella area di verde. il Parco della Mole Adriana, in esso è presente una imponente statua bronzea che rappresenta l’imperatore Adriano, con la sua splendida armatura e con lo sguardo rivolto verso la “sua Mole”.
La statua si trova sopra una base di marmo sagomata dove nella parte anteriore è presente la seguente iscrizione:

AVG
ANNO XII
A FASCIBVS RENOVATIS
