★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesetta edificata nel XIII secolo e poi rimaneggiata nel 1418 e quindi nel 1538. Navata e abside sono interamente affrescati.
Beautiful small church built in the thirteenth century and then remodeled in 1418 and then in 1538. Aisle and apse are entirely frescoed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo luogo ha un particolare valore sentimentale,visto che era davanti alla casa dove sono nato e cresciuto...nel tempo è stato dotato di una antiestetica rampa x disabili (che si poteva fare tranquillamente in altro modo molto più bello) e la sera spesso è diventato luogo di ritrovo di alcuni extracomunitari x i loro affari (vista la scarsa illuminazione)....peccato!
This place has a particular sentimental value, since it was in front of the house where I was born and raised ... over time it has been equipped with an unsightly x disabled ramp (which could easily have been done in another way much more beautiful) and in the evening often it has become a meeting place for some non-EU citizens xi their business (given the poor lighting) .... sin!

L'esterno è classico, non presenta particolari caratteristiche architettoniche.
Purtroppo non posso dare più di una stellina perché trovata chiusa il sabato mattina.
A church moved from the historic center of Mantua, but still located in the center.
The exterior is classic, with no particular architectural features.
Unfortunately I can't give more than one star because it was found closed on Saturday morning.

Ma il ricordo di questa chiesa x me è speciale perché io mi ci sono sposato con la mia attuale moglie esattamente 45 anni fa . Chiesa piccola ma calda senza tanti sfronzoli c'è però l essenziale x una chiesa cattolica .presumo sia anche molto antica lo deduco dai dipinti sui muri Comunque splendida x la sua misticita

But the memory of this church is special for me because I got married to my current wife exactly 45 years ago. Small but warm church without many frills but there is the essential for a catholic church. I assume it is also very old I deduce it from the paintings on the walls However splendid x its mystic
