L'ultima modifica della chiesa risale al 1800.
La facciata è uno dei punti focali della chiesa: è di un meraviglioso verde che risalta le allegorie della parte frontale della chiesa.
L'interno è ad unica navata, semplice. Nella parte destra c'è una cappellina dove sono esposte opere che assomigliano alle icone russe.
Chiesa poco pubblicizzata, ma una visita ci sta.
The church of Sant'Egidio is located in the center of Mantua not far from the Corso.
The last modification of the church dates back to 1800.
The facade is one of the focal points of the church: it is of a wonderful green that highlights the allegories of the front of the church.
The interior has a single nave, simple. On the right side there is a chapel where works that resemble Russian icons are exhibited.
Church little publicized, but a visit is there.
