Ricostruita con capacità ed infinito amore, a tutt'oggi vede chiusa per il completamento dei lavori la cappella Gonzaga.
Tuttavia non si possono non ammirare la semplicità e spiritualità del complesso e la perfezione del suo stile.
 Conceived as a Gonzaga funeral chapel, most of its beauties were destroyed by the war.
Rebuilt with skill and infinite love, the Gonzaga chapel is still closed for completion of the works.
However, one cannot fail to admire the simplicity and spirituality of the complex and the perfection of its style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima chiesa con ampio sagrato, mi dispiace vedere l’incuria che si evince nel porticato difronte dedicato al Santo dove sotto la statua in bella mostra vi hanno abbandonato una bottiglia vuota di birra inoltre l’odore di urina è persistente …che delusione!!
Beautiful church with a large churchyard, I'm sorry to see the neglect that can be seen in the portico in front of the saint where an empty bottle of beer has been left under the statue on display, and the smell of urine is persistent ... what a disappointment !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful monument of medieval culture and architecture. It was the burial place of local aristocracy. Alas, church was badly damaged in 1944 when it was bombed by Allies. Fortunately some frescoes of XIV century survived and you can find them in the last Chapel on the right hand side. Admission is free but any donation is welcomed and highly appreciated. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light.
