★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Barnaba, imponente e magnifica, si trova a pochi metri dal corso di Mantova.
L'ultimo rifacimento risale al 1724.
La facciata è in stile classico con leggeri ritocchi barocchi (soprattutto nella parte alta della parte frontale).
L'interno è a navata unica, a pianta a croce latina, in stile barocco. Ciò che emerge è il bellissimo colore rosa pastello che fa suscitare un senso di tranquillità.
Le caratteristiche degne di nota sono:
- La cupola è uno dei punti focali della chiesa, che la fa slanciare in altezza;
- L'acqua santiera proviene dalla chiesa di San Sebastiano;
- Il must della chiesa, però, è il chiostro: i due lati rimasti sono affrescati.
Ingresso: libero.
The imposing and magnificent church of San Barnaba is located a few meters from the course of Mantua.
The last remake dates back to 1724.
The facade is in classic style with light baroque touches (especially in the upper part of the front).
The interior has a single nave with a Latin cross plan, in Baroque style. What emerges is the beautiful pastel pink color that arouses a sense of tranquility.
The noteworthy features are:
- The dome is one of the focal points of the church, which makes it soar in height;
- The holy water comes from the church of San Sebastiano;
- The must of the church, however, is the cloister: the two remaining sides are frescoed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesa risalente al 1200, fondata dal vescovo martino di Mantova e da francesco 1 di gonzaga restaurata lungo i secoli. Rimane principalmente uno stile barocco. Era adiacente ad un monastero poi soppresso nel 1700, Ricco di affreschi e statue. Conteneva le spoglie di Giulio romano purtroppo profanato. Consiglio a chi è in città per fare il turista di farci un salto
Beautiful church dating back to 1200, founded by the bishop martino of Mantua and by francesco 1 di gonzaga restored over the centuries. It remains mainly a Baroque style. It was adjacent to a monastery then suppressed in 1700, rich in frescoes and statues. It contained the remains of Julius the Roman unfortunately profaned. I recommend to those in town to be a tourist to drop by

Sia per la sua struttura esterna perticolare che per la sua facciata, che si fonde in modo perfetto con la graziosa fontana posta nella prospicente piazzetta.
This church is very nice.
Both for its peculiar external structure and for its facade, which blends perfectly with the graceful fountain placed in the facing square.
