★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa fu costruita tra la fine del 1500 e l'inizio del 1600 per ospitare un prezioso affresco raffigurante la Madonna, il Bambino e san Grato attribuito alla scuola di Gaudenzio Ferrari.
Quel piccolo iniziale oratorio fu poi ampliato in due occasioni (fine 1600 e inizio 1800) e arricchito di sagrestia, campanile e ossario.
Nella 1833 fu rifatta anche la facciata in elegante stile neoclassico senza che l'armonia di linee della chiesa ne risentisse.
Se apprezzabile è l'esterno, non è stato possibile invece visitare l'interno dove il neoclassico si fonde con il barocco. Peccato.
The church was built between the end of the 1500s and the beginning of the 1600s to house a precious fresco depicting the Madonna, the Child and San Grato attributed to the school of Gaudenzio Ferrari.
That small initial oratory was then expanded on two occasions (late 1600s and early 1800s) and enriched with the sacristy, bell tower and ossuary.
In 1833 the façade was also redone in an elegant neoclassical style without the harmony of the lines of the church being affected.
If the exterior is appreciable, it was not possible to visit the interior where the neoclassical blends with the Baroque. Sin.
