This small oratory - in the heart of the historical center - was erected starting from 1631 as thanks of the population for the end of one of the many pestilences that struck Italy in those centuries. The dedication to San Rocco (depicted in fresco on the façade) confirms this.
The interior in pure Baroque style presents - among the various frescoes - a "Gloria di San Giuseppe" first work that Luigi Rossetti painted on the vault in 1733.
In the 1800s the building had a difficult life due to the changed socio-cultural and decadent climate. Destined for demolition, it was saved in 1930 by the Poli family who financed its complete restoration.
Today it is a place of prayer for the association San Padre Pio.
