La possibilità che risalga addirittura al periodo longobardo è, comunque, concreta così come il fatto che sia stata costruita all'interno di un "castello" del quale, però, non sono rimaste tracce.
Un secolo importante per la chiesa fu il XVIII quando venne ampliata a tre navate. Proprio la navata di destra custodisce l'opera più importante vale a dire la Madonna del Rosario che viene datata al 1500.
Ampio il panorama verso il lago.
We do not know the date of foundation of this church mentioned for the first time only in 1380. The possibility that dates back even to the Lombard period is, however, concrete as well as the fact that it was built inside a "castle" of which however, there are no traces left.
An important century for the church was the XVIII when it was enlarged with three naves. Precisely the right aisle guards the most important work, namely the Madonna del Rosario which is dated to 1500.
