L	Luigi Gravina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quasi tutta ricostruita, ma con interessanti statue lignee salvate al terromito, con una delle tanti sorgenti del Biferno situata sotto l'abside, visitabile e abbellito da disegnate maioliche artistiche, con campanile dotata di una grande campana territoriale, con esterna parete dotata di storico laterale ingresso con rosone. O	Oscar Vignone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' il più antico monumento del Molise. Resta uno degli edifici da visitare assolutamente durante un viaggio a Bojano. La Chiesa purtroppo è stata dilaniata dai tanti terremoti e dai bombardamenti della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Particolare un antico ingresso murato sul prospetto sud della chiesa. It is the oldest monument in Molise. It remains one of the buildings to visit absolutely during a trip to Bojano. Unfortunately the Church was torn apart by the many earthquakes and bombings of the Second World War. Particularly an ancient walled entrance on the south elevation of the church.
A	Anna Ianera on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 30 anni fa la Cattedrale di Bojano era buia e fredda. Poi nel corso degli anni e con don Angelo ( ora vescovo) è diventata accogliente e luminosa. Entrando, ti accoglie, nella navata centrale, Gesù crocifisso che sale al cielo : non c'è la croce e ti accompagna in riflessioni mistiche ... In fondo all'abside in alto splende umilmente una dolcissima statua di Maria Assunta in cielo. Tutta la navata è arricchita di affreschi e medaglioni affrescati dei personaggi del vecchio testamento e dei santi. Molti hanno il volto degli abitanti di Bojano e tanti quello dell'artista che li ha realizzato. Di fronte, a sinistra di Gesù crocifisso, c'è l'evangelista Luca, con il volto di don Stefano Gorzegno che alcuni anni fa ha dato la vita per salvare i bambini di Bojano che aveva portato in gita al mare. Sulla tavola dell' ultima cena per volere di don Angelo è presente una trota, pesce allevato in paese. Non mi piace l'affresco che rappresenta il giudizio universale con il richiamo alla tragedia di San Giuliano di Puglia (bimbi con il grembiulino rosa e celeste e operatori della protezione civile) perché mi sa tanto delle immagini dei testimoni di Geova. 30 years ago Bojano Cathedral was dark and cold. Then over the years and with Don Angelo (now bishop) it became welcoming and bright. Upon entering, the crucified Jesus welcomes you in the central nave, ascending to heaven: there is no cross and accompanies you in mystical reflections ... At the bottom of the apse at the top, a very sweet statue of Maria Assunta in heaven shines humbly. The whole nave is enriched with frescoes and frescoed medallions of the characters of the old testament and of the saints. Many have the faces of the inhabitants of Bojano and many that of the artist who made them. Opposite, to the left of Jesus crucified, is the evangelist Luke, with the face of Don Stefano Gorzegno who a few years ago gave his life to save the children of Bojano whom he had taken on a trip to the sea. On the table of the last supper at the behest of Don Angelo there is a trout, a fish raised in the village. I don't like the fresco representing the universal judgment with the reference to the tragedy of San Giuliano di Puglia (children with pink and light blue aprons and civil protection workers) because I know so much about the images of Jehovah's Witnesses.
