★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Di proprietà privata, é visitabile solo durante le giornate del fai. Tipico castello lombardo a pianta quadrata, ristrutturato a residenza privata, conserva ancora due torri originali. Enorme parco all'inglese a ridosso del Ticino.
 Privately owned, it can only be visited during the days of the fair. Typical Lombard square castle, renovated as a private residence, still retains two original towers. Huge English park near the Ticino.

Ottimo per fare il bagno in estate.
Really nice place near the river where you can admire a splendid panorama and all around an expanse of greenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' un castello ben tenuto, abitato dai discendenti indiretti dei Visconti che ne divennero proprietari già alla fine del 1200.
E' difficile da visitare. Dall'esterno si capisce solo che l'edificio ha notevoli dimensioni (non è un "castelletto") e che già nel 1600 fu trasformato da fortezza in dimora signorile.
La mozzata torre di sud-est (che si intravede nel parco) ha fortunatamente conservato il paramento murario in pietra a vista: è la parte più antica, costruita dai Da Castello intorno all'anno 1100 per controllare il Ticino; successivamente furono aggiunte le altre torri con relative maniche.
It is a well-kept castle, inhabited by the indirect descendants of the Visconti who became its owners as early as the end of 1200.
It is difficult to visit. From the outside it is clear only that the building has considerable dimensions (it is not a "small castle") and that already in 1600 it was transformed from a fortress into a stately home.
The severed south-east tower (which can be glimpsed in the park) has fortunately preserved the exposed stone wall face: it is the oldest part, built by the Da Castello family around the year 1100 to control the Ticino; subsequently the other towers with relative sleeves were added.
