Adesso sono soltanto ruderi, che per arrivarci bisogna peroccrere almeno 1,5 km dal ponte sul Calcandola presso la località La Brina (Sarzana), con 140 m di salita. Solo se si vuole fare una breve camminata, attenzione solo all'ultimo tratto che il sentiero è accidentato vale la pena di andarci, a meno chè si è dei appassionati di archeologia. The Brina castle existed since the 11th century, resting on the Nuda or Torraccio hill. Now they are only ruins, which to get there you have to walk at least 1.5 km from the bridge over the Calcandola at La Brina (Sarzana), with a 140 m climb. Only if you want to take a short walk, pay attention only to the last stretch that the path is bumpy, it is worth going there, unless you are an archeology enthusiast.

Si arriva dalla via Francigena partendo da Ponzano superiore, per tutto il tragitto ci sono viste mozzafiato e una bella natura. Il sentiero é tracciato con i colori bianco e rosso posti sui punti critici (non ci si può perdere) A natural experience to do if you are in the area.
