F	Francesco Lombari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traggitto agevole in un bosco fitto a partire dal Santuario di Canneto si puo seguire un sentiero vicino al ruscello oppure una strada sterrata un po' più in alto. Peccato che il sentiero sia segnalato poco e male. Easy route in a dense forest starting from the Sanctuary of Canneto you can follow a path near the stream or a dirt road a little higher. Too bad the path is poorly and poorly signposted.

Dopo aver incontrato un laghetto in un ampia vallata circondata da maestose alture, dove si può anche campeggiare, ci inoltriamo nel bosco seguendo la sentieristica CAI o meglio, per chi ama i sentieri meno battuti, seguendo l'evidente sentiero che parte alla fine della Valle. Durante la salita, si incontra il fiume Melfa che lungo il suo corso ci incanta con diversi salti e rapide. A metà strada c'è un bel rifugio che però ho trovato chiuso, poi si prosegue volendo fino a "passo dell'orso" o per i coraggiosi fino al rifugio di Forca Resuni. Il percorso è facile per qualunque buon camminatore, e lo spettacolo è assicurato specialmente nei mesi primaverili e inizio estate, quando la portata del fiume è maggiore. After having met a small lake in a wide valley surrounded by majestic hills, where you can also camp, we enter the woods following the CAI path or better, for those who love the less traveled paths, following the obvious path that starts at the end of the Valley . During the ascent, we meet the Melfa river that enchants us along its course with different jumps and rapids. Halfway there is a nice hut that I found closed, then we go on wanting up to "bear's pass" or for the brave ones to the refuge of Forca Resuni. The route is easy for any good walker, and the show is assured especially in the spring and early summer months, when the flow of the river is greater.
