V	Vincenzo Marabello on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non conoscevo l'esistenza di questo luogo, è possibile arrivarci utilizzando la strada statale accanto all'uscita autostradale Gazzi. Una volta arrivati al paese di San Filippo Superiore è necessario scendere dalla macchina e proseguire a piedi(sicuramente consigliato per godere a pieno della meraviglia del luogo), una volta arrivati in fondo la strada sterrata che vi porterà all'inizio del sentiero proseguite e dovrete letteralmente fare un percorso all'interno della natura incontaminata o quasi fino ad arrivare alle cascate. Il percorso è di circa 8km ma per arrivare alle cascate dovrete percorrere circa 2.5 km, ma una volta arrivati lo spettacolo è assicurato ! The path is about 8km but to get to the falls you will have to travel about 2.5 km, but once you get there the show is guaranteed!

È possibile andare a vedere la Cascata di San Filippo Superiore facendo un breve trekking poco impegnativo, ma la vera bellezza del posto si può apprezzare facendo un percorso ad anello che porta verso la cima del monte per poi riscendere attraverso una vallata. Evocative panoramas, dense woods and wild nature make this place magical. It is possible to go and see the San Filippo Superiore waterfall by taking a short, undemanding trek, but the true beauty of the place can be appreciated by taking a ring route that leads to the top of the mountain and then descends through a valley.

La strada per arrivare non è difficile e facilmente rintracciabile da Google maps: si sale da Santa Lucia poi San Filippo superiore, si costeggia la fiumara fino a San Filippo inferiore e il priorio mezzo lo si può posteggiare all’ultima casa/proprietà che si incontra. A questo punto si può seguire il fiumiciattolo a piedi fino appunto ad arrivare alla cascata (si incontrano anche degli antichi mulini). Più difficile da spiegare che da percorrere! Consiglio di andare in mattinata così da gustarsi la cascata con ancora qualche scorcio di sole, vestirsi comodi e “a cipolla”, indossare scarpe da ginnastica e portarsi una felpina (io sono andata a novembre). Il luogo non e' facilissimo da raggiungere e un po' faticoso, ma la pace e la serenita' che si trovano, fanno dimenticare di essere a pochi km. Dalla citta'. Nelle vicinanze e' presente pure una valle con antichi mulini!
