★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il sentiero Via Mariae inizia alla fine del paese di Cumia Superiore. La segnaletica del sentiero è stata effettuata dall'associazione Camminare i Peloritani (Presidente Pasquale D'Andrea) e dal parroco di Cumia (Don Giovanni Lombardo). Sia D'Andrea che Lombardo sono grandi conoscitori dei monti Peloritani. Il sentiero arriva a portella Croce Cumia e si può effettuare sia a piedi che in mtb. A portella Croce Cumia arrivano anche i pellegrini che giungono dalla Via Mariae del versante tirrenico.
Via Mariae The path starts at the end of the Upper Cumia country. The path signposting was carried out by the Camminare i Peloritani association (President Pasquale D'Andrea) and by the parish priest of Cumia (Don Giovanni Lombardo). Both D'Andrea and Lombardo are great connoisseurs of the Peloritani mountains. The path reaches Portella Croce Cumia and can be done either on foot or by mountain bike. Also the pilgrims arriving from the Via Mariae on the Tyrrhenian side arrive at the Croce Cumia gate.
