Sono presenti diversi itinerari naturalistici percorribili sia in estate che in inverno a piedi, a cavallo o in mountain bike. È abitata da animali di varie specie, sono facilmente avvistabili caprioli e cervi. È l'ideale per chi ama la natura. Beautiful forest of beech, white and red firs, extending for about 7000 hectares, is located on the border between the provinces of Belluno, Pordenone and Treviso. There are several naturalistic itineraries that can be traveled both in summer and in winter on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. It is inhabited by animals of various species, roe deer and deer are easily sighted. It is ideal for those who love nature.

Visitato d’estate e ci ritornerò d’inverno, distese verdi con una vista meravigliosa delle montagne, ci sono ottimi posti per fare picnic con la famiglia o con gli amici. Oppure ci sono bar, locande e servizi in zona. Consigliato per fare escursioni, passeggiate in mezzo al verde o giri in moto visto la strada per salire su. Wonderful place! Visited in the summer and I will be back in the winter, green expanses with a wonderful view of the mountains, there are excellent places to picnic with family or friends. Or there are bars, inns and services in the area. Recommended for hiking, walking in the countryside or motorbike rides given the road to get on.
e	emanuele truccolo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La foresta del Cansiglio interessa sia il Veneto con le province di Treviso e Belluno, sia il Friuli Venezia Giulia con la provincia di Pordenone. Arrivando dalla località Crosetta e proseguendo in direzione Tambre, si apre alla vista la bellissima piana del Cansiglio. Subito dopo il golf club troviamo un'area picnic dove è possibile parcheggiare la macchina ed iniziare così la nostra escursione. Abbiamo scelto di seguire il percorso contrassegnato con la lettera B e, oltrepassato la sede del Corpo forestale della Candaglia abbiamo proseguito lungo il sentiero 991. Scegliendo uno dei percorsi tracciati ci siamo inoltrati nella foresta arrivando dapprima alla Casera Ceresera a mt 1347 slm per poi continuare il percorso che, volendo, porta fino in Piancavallo. La casera Ceresera è dotata di un rifugio per chi, in difficoltà o colto dal maltempo ha necessità di un riparo. All'interno sono messi a disposizione dei lettini. I percorsi che si possono fare sono davvero tantissimi. C'è anche molta gente che li percorre in mtb. La foresta di faggi e abeti è incantevole e fresca. Consiglio comunque una minima attrezzatura (scarponi e magari anche i bastoncini). Alcuni punti sono scivolosi. Coming from Crosetta and continuing towards Tambre, the beautiful plain of Cansiglio opens up to the view. Immediately after the golf club we find a picnic area where you can park your car and start our excursion. We chose to follow the path marked with the letter B and, after passing the headquarters of the Candaglia Forestry Corps, we continued along path 991. Choosing one of the marked paths we entered the forest first arriving at Casera Ceresera at 1347 meters above sea level and then continuing the path that, if desired, leads to Piancavallo. The Ceresera dairy is equipped with a refuge for those in difficulty or caught by bad weather who need shelter. Inside are made available to the beds. The paths that can be done are really many. There are also many people who ride them on mtb. The beech and fir forest is lovely and fresh. However, I recommend a minimum of equipment (boots and maybe even sticks). Some spots are slippery.
