Casa Per Ferie Sant' Andrea

Staff were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was great. However, it was a bit of a walk to the heart of Venice. As well as this, rooms were not clean and were extremely small.

Very silent place in the Venice. Clean room, delicious breakfast and well decorated reception can attract you. You will face problem for toilet/washroom because the have common toilet for 2-3 room in the outer room.

First the good: +The hotel is located conveniently next to the cruise ship terminal and a five minute walk to the Piazzale Roma bus station. We walked there after disembarking from our Norwegian cruise. At the end of our stay we were able to take the #5 city bus to Marco Polo airport for €8 apiece. +The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, speaking very good English and providing recommendations for getting around Venice. +They allowed us to check our luggage for free in a secured room when we arrived early in the morning until we could enter our room later in the afternoon. +The room was clean and the double bed was more comfortable than it looked. +Breakfast is included. The not so good: -The elevator is incredibly slow and outdated. It requires holding the button the entire time or else the elevator car will stop. -The walls are thin and the floors are made of stone, so sound echoes throughout the place. There is also a large gap under the door so whenever other guests walked past our room the light from the hall would brighten our room and their noise would wake us up. -Shower is very small, a large/tall person would find it awkward and uncomfortable to use. -WiFi is slow -Breakfast was so-so -NOT a good choice for mobility challenged travellers. -Overall, Casa Per Ferie Sant'Andrea is Expensive for what you get. We stayed here because it was in old Venice and close to the cruise terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful. I want to leave a better recommendation for them, but for the price of €108 for one night, I expect more.

The hotel is in a good location if you are going on a cruise as it is close to the bus station and next to the people mover which can take you to Venice Port very conveniently. There are restaurants and small supermarkets close by. The breakfast was good. Bed squeaked a lot with slightest movement, that was annoying.

Great location, very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, 24-hour check in. The check out time is a little bit early(10:30), but they let you put your luggage there for some hours Generally I recommend it.

Good location, vaparetto stops in front of the hotel, close to the Piazzale Roma where buses from/to the airport stops. This place is perfect for people who want to stay just for one night. Rooms are small and breakfast is ok. I paid 50 € and for that, it was good.

Perfect location, vaporetto stops beside the hotel, super close to the main train station and to the Piazzale Roma where buses from/to the airport stops. Many shops around, walking distance to basically everywhere. Also super quiet. Friendly staff specially the night porter, I could not thank him enough for being so kind. I totally recommend this hotel :)

Liked · The hotel is between of two parking lots at entrance to Venice, plus next to bus, train and tram stations. So I thought it as a ideal. Breakfast is good and staff is very helpful. 24hour check in. Boat "bus" dock in front of the hotel. Athough shared bathroom, it was shared with only one other room. Disliked · Room was tiny, but manageable. I came on motorcycle, and it was not very bike friendly. The embankment is forbidden to drive, and you cannot park somewhere else and carry 3 cases plus helmet. So there is high risk of penalty.
