Located on Piazza Santo Stefano, it is locally known as Sette Chiese ("Seven Churches") and Santa Gerusalemme ("Holy Jerusalem"). It has the dignity of minor basilica.

A church unlike most other, definitely worth a stop by if only to gain some perspective into what a church can look line without all the gaudiness

A cluster of churches and chapels with a labyrinth of passages and porticos with s lovely inner yard. Well preserved and cared for, away from the tourist crowds and a must visit in Bologna.

Where I visited this sets of churches it's fealt like being transported in the mediaeval times as is still keep it atmosphere, nothing has been modernized, the charm, the lights, the mΓ‘rmol floor make this place a beautiful to immerse into history. And is free to visit as a bonus.

This church is fascinating, because it's actually a complex of different churches, built over different centuries. The older sections are especially lovely. It shouldn't be missed if you're in Bologna.

I’m sure we have all seen lots of churches in Italy, but this one is cool and different with the 7 separate chapels that are all linked. It seems more like a historical site than church which I liked. And it is beautiful. Entrance is free and it’s a nice walk to get to it.
