Nel 1395 i Centesi presero a costruire una chiesa gotica, ad una sola navata, che ampliarono nel 1566 aggiungendovi una navata laterale. La Chiesa è ricca di opere d’arte del Guercino, Provenzali, Cesi e Gennari. S. Biagio e S. Michele sono i Patroni delle terre del centese.
