β β β β β Wrong address, aggressive unprofessional behaviour and they wanted to give me a car that hasn't been cleaned. Although they wasted 45 minutes of my time, they refused to replace it and I had to wait for them to clean it. 0/10 experience that I have never experienced with another car rental agency. When I had the car, it had the check engine sign on and I had to wait again

β β β β β Had a terrible experience there, hired a car for 3 days and handed it back after 2 days. I've been told that I'll get a refund after 48 hours, because obviously I haven't used the car for 3 days but it's been 3 weeks and I haven't seen any refund. Tried to call them and e mailed them several times. They just ignored me. And the service was awful. Aggressive staff and the manager was useless. I won't recommend anyone to go there. Not even a quarter star they deserve.

Myself i have rented from a car in January 2022 fro 2 days after i have returned the the car they have detucted my deposit, and today they detucted 300EUR
They use tourist personal bank details to detuct after they make sure they leave the country.
I had a very bad experience when i rented the car and after returning it, staff was not friendly at all unprofessional company.
I have travelled to alot of countries and rented a lot cars from different car rentals companies but in Avis i had the baddest experience in my life bot only me i have couple of friends and family members where Avis used there personal account details to detuct after while.

β β β β β Good experience until the drop off of the car. No one told me the office closed at 5, i arrived 20 mins later and it was closed, an indication mentioned that if boscovich garage was closed to drop it in Diaz, i go in Diaz and it was closed as well with a sign mentioning that if the Diaz office was closed to drop the car in boscovich...it was a puzzle. No one answered to the customer service so i had to ask to the guard of the parking for help, he let me speak with a Avis representative that told me that i had to pay for an extra day and the fault was mine for the 20 mins delay. In their policies is mentioned that if you drop off within 29 mins it's ok and NO one mentioned to me that my drop off time was at office closure and i risked a situation like this. This whole ordeal make me get late to an important appointment. Terrible Customer experience.

β β β β β My general experience with car rentals is usually mixed but on all my visits to Milan the staff here at Avis have been exceptional! It's easy to get caught up in a rush and that we want things done instantaneously and take out our frustrations on others, but even when Iβve been in a hurry the staff have always been polite and helpful which is why I will continue to use Avis every time I go to Milan. Itβs just a shame that I canβt give them 10 stars instead of 5!

β β β β β Despite the low reviews for this location, I actually had a decent experience here.
The worst part was the wait to get the car - even though I am a Preferred Plus customer I still had to wait in line before receiving my vehicle, maybe because I am an international renter. I booked the car online. They had only one employee working at the front desk, and I felt bad for her with the line of customers. It took maybe 30 minutes for the person in front of me to get their issue resolved, I was the 2nd person in line at 9am. Overall you need to plan maybe 1+ hour for car pickup.
Please note that the rental office is located in the Milano Centrale train station, at one of the side entrances. You must go here first before picking up the car in a different place (where the Google Maps address is), it is about a 6-8 minute walk. First I went direct to the car pickup and they told me to go to the rental office instead. It was difficult to find the rental office in the train station, as there is not much signage. After waiting in line and getting your rental agreement, you will go to the car pickup. The car pickup location was also difficult to find, there is a garage entrance for the car return, I just walked down that way.
The car I received was very beaten up, with scratches on every side of the car. The car drove fine. I made sure to take pictures of all of the damage, and I was thankfully not charged anything on return. I did not pay any more than what I booked online, because I denied any extras that were offered at car pickup. This location closes at 5pm ET, you cannot return the car after hours.
